 2D AND 3D SCREEN ORGANIZATION

The graphical area is defined by x, y and z axes with the orientation shown in the figure

2D drawings are created in a graphical window that corresponds to a quarter of the coordinate system, but with the opposite return of the Y-axis.

Depending on the screen resolution set in the computer system maximum, the graphic window may have different dimensions, e.g. 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1929x1440, etc. It is also conditioned by the hardware and related to the capabilities of the graphics card and the driver supporting it.
